Special Meeting on Jan 30 At The Baka Office
Since we could not get any theatres for the club on Jan 30, we are running a special meeting at the lounge by the Baka office, in the student's union building. Think of it as a small part with anime and feel free to bring some food to share with everyone else. - Thank you

New Term Meeting
Baka meetings should resume in the 3rd Monday of January. Meeting place still TBA. Thank you Update: The room is the same as last year, 2nd floor of education from 6:00-9:00. Steve will be showing some extra special shows. Hope to see you there!

Gong Show
Baka's famous gong show will be held on Monday December 5th from 6:00pm - 9:00pm in the Education Building (Room 2-115)The Gong Show is where we play some Really Good Anime and Some Really Bad Anime, and you can bid to keep it on or off. If you don't know what it is, don't worry, its lots of fun. Think utter chaos, only with anime.

Chritmass Diner

Secret Santa
Baka is trying Secret Santa this year. Deadline to enter in by is on Monday, December 5th and gifts will be due on the Christmass diner. Note this is for fun, and the gift should be no more then $5.00. Have fun.

Site Updates - 10.01.2005
Welcome to the new beta of the website... we're just making sure that things are running nice and smooth now... we've made the site up largely of iframes now, just in case. (You have no idea of the garbage I had to sift through... >< Never again.) If all goes well, we might have a live blog feed for the news and the schedule, but only time will tell.

At the beginning of October the BAKA Elections will be taking place! Positions available to run for are:

President
Vice President External (Diplomat with other organizations)
Vice President Internal (Handles internal affairs and the S.U.)
Treasurer (Handles club finances)
Secretary (Handles club archives, takes minutes)

Welcome Back Meeting updated - 09.09.2005
The next meeting for the Banzi Anime Klub of Alberta will be held at Education North 2-115. That's the big theater on the second floor of Eductation. It's from 6:00 - 9:30pm On Monday September 12, 2005. All future meetings for the term should be held there but its still subject to change. The first will be a night of episode ones. All meeting held in september will be free and open to non-members.
