Ah, a carrot
and a stick... of words anyways.
My big problem is that, while I do read a heck of a lot, I tend to forget to keep as many links as I should.
Old Gendo's Game.
Gendo is damn near
always evil in every story he's in. What if there was a real good reason why?
Seven Village StompRanma and Genma get a wee bit lost. A pure Romp.
The Devil's Bleached TearsA single throwaway scene early in a manga that eventually devolved from Ghostbusters (with swords!) into Dragonball (with swords!)
Hell, what could have been sometimes...
The Full Metal BitchThis was an interesting one. I won't say anything about it though.
Big Human on CampusAn excellent romp. Take Ranma 1/2, kick him out of school, take Rosario+Vampire and dump him there. Take Villains from every anime series and make them professors, some with PTSD. Have no one believe that Ranma is human due to the fact that he keeps kicking the crap out of monsters.
Also has scenes like this:
Quote:
"Gah! Ranma! One of the spiders got in!" Tsukune called from the other side of the door.
Ranma frowned. "So? Either shoo it outside or kill it!" Really, Tsukune was kind of a wimp, but freaking out over spiders? The school really must've been getting to him after all.
"I can't! It's too big!" came the ordinary boy's frantic shout.
"Yeah, I'm sure it's huge. Just get a shoe or something!" Ranma shouted back, sinking further into the water.
"It has a HEALTH BAR!"
Ranma immediately jumped out of the water, tying a towel around his waist with one hand while grabbing a plunger with the other. "Dammit. This place has problems."
The Dark Lords of NerimaWith all the Sailor Moon things happening in the Ranma world, and not wanting to join the "good" guys for various reasons, the only choice is to become a third party in a two side race. Well done and still ongoing.
UprootedWith all those there mangas and animes with the hero beating the crap out of a villain and suddenly becoming friends (which happens in so many shows it ain't even funny), it's nice to see someone attempt to
weaponize it. Quite funny.
Nothing but TroubleThis one is a very well written, ongoing series about what is far more likely to happen when you have demonically powered ninjas and give them a teensy bit more brain power to realize that you can always carve a niche for yourself elsewhere instead of having to make do with scraps in your hometown. Features an almost Chuck Norris feel, though instead of "Walk or Kill" it's more of "Drunk or Kill". Also features Bingo Night with Ninjas.
HJ PotterIt's short, and it made me laugh. Also makes a fair amount of sense if your brain is a little twisted.
The Truth DecaysThis is a mix I've seldom seen, and even rarer to be done well. It is done well, make no mistake. If only it'd come out faster...
Harry Potter and the Royal MintThe defeat of the Dark Lord shall come one cent at a time!
Scorpion's DiscipleAgain, a single comment, on a single page of a manga about an event that, when expanded upon, throws the whole series out of whack.
In Naruto, it's mentioned that Orochimaru left a certain organization, and it is also mentioned that he had a partner. Did they just shake hands and part happily? Hell no, there had to be a fight, and if you stop and think about it, knowing the characters as the advances of the manga have given, it's almost obvious that things would have been different than it was.
Only one problem though, the writer has a hard time with tenses. It's more obvious in the earlier chapters, and he is getting someone to help edit them out. Still a very good read and one that takes the characters in directions I've never seen before.
Poison PenIf you step back and use your noggin for anything other than hammering nails into planks, you'll notice that the Harry Potter world is kinda... broken in a crapsack way. Now what if one stood back and actually commented about this, and a newspaper decided to publish it? The pen is truly mightier than the wand!
Anything and EverythingThis is something I'd like to have more written about. I will warn you this isn't the nicest fic out there.
A Village Hidden in HopeYour typical run of the mill Star Wars & Naruto Crossover. Cause you know, Ninjas stabbing Wookies is common as dirt...
Lord RanmaI like this one, if only because the Villains are intelligent AND because it's about damn time someone realized the sheer awesomeness of
thinkingWhat if, the villain of the week in Sailor Moon was nothing more than bait to keep the Senshi from realizing that there is more than one General and that they hit the whole world? What if they put ads in the papers in S&M Magazines and people pay them for the "service" of getting their energy drained? What if Queen Beryl was completely batshit insane?

"Hrm... I see. Just how 'unhinged' are we talking here?" Cologne asked carefully.
"Her most recent order was for Zoicite to fetch her a large crate full of Belgian Chocolates."
"That doesn't sound so-"
"And then destroy Belgium, and I quote, 'that none less deserving might taste of such confectionary delight'." He paused, then continued in a pained monotone. "'Ohohohoho'."
"That... is far less encouraging than I had hoped." Cologne admitted frankly.
At least 85% pure awesomesauce.
Red MoonTake Sailor Moon. Add Communism. Shake and pour over crushed ice and tears.
bonus points if you realize that technically, due to magic, that communism is actually possible.
And lastly, for Rhad, I give you
[This].
I commands you, take this idea and run like Al Bundy during his final game with four Touchdowns in one Game! But before he married Peg
That oughta do for a start anyways. I'm getting hungry, I'll go eat and maybe do some more later.
