They Are My Noble Masters
Very amusing. Reminiscent of Hayate no Gotoku ~ definitely good for mindless crack - but not something I'd likely get hooked on.I couldn't get into it at all....>.< And I tend to enjoy mindless crack.
The whole time I just kept thinking, when does it end? It's Murder Princess without the murder or the princess. In other words, nothing.
There's plenty of fanservice, but not much else. The characters are so stock I kept waiting for the multiple-choice answers to pop up. (A pretty Japanese girl with anemia? You don't say? According to anime, 99 per cent of Japan has iron deficiency! Oh, and a borderline incestuous brother/sister combo! Who wants to bet that it's all okay since one of them's adopted?) I can already sense the oncoming beach, onsen, festival and White Day episodes, as well as the love polyhedron where everyone knows the male lead will end up with the lady but pretends otherwise.
Unless one of that girl's 42 surprises is a plasma chainsword, I'm not interested. (I think she bounced five times in her first minute of screentime!)Ouch.
Well, we tried it, formed an opinion about it, and we never have to see it again.
It's alright, but like Busou Renkin, it has the unfortunate timing to be released against a similar product, Hayate the Combat Butler in this case. I think it could do great things, but like many hopefuls, will fail to take chances and thus be forgotten by the wayside.
Ah well, such is life.
