Macross Frontier [FINISHED]
I just wish we could have learned more about the Transhumanist Macross Galaxy before they were unceremoniously suckerpunched. I am aware of the MST3K mantra, but I still can't figure out why they went through all the trouble to get Macross Frontier involved at all.
And Burnside's Zeroth Law* was in full effect.
The only reason we watch these shows/read the books/play the games is to see (far to pretty) human beings fight for their lives against the infinity of space. Real militaries would use AI for all their combat needs. - Ken Burnside, Ad Astara Games
I believe my opinion of this show is rather obvious. XD *rampant squee*I missed the first half of the show, but I did enjoy the second half. I loved all the music and the plot wasn't bad. I don't think it's one I'd own, but I definitely didn't mind watching it.What can I saw? I really enjoyed this series, even if it was a tad silly in places. But its Macross, if its not a tad silly you're probably doing it wrong. I'm just annoyed I missed the finale because of my stupid lab final. *grumble**grumble*
While I am a poor university student and this is Macross so its unlikely to ever show up in North America due to weird copyright laws (glares at Robotech) this one might be a buyer if I had the cash. It's certainly pretty enough. You can't blame Macross.
Blame Robotech.Robotech.
Hmmm... yes, it would appear that I was correct the first time, it is just that Robo tech gets changed over to Macross.WTH I know that G o d gets changed to 'Crom', but why would Robo-tech get changed as well? That's just funny.Just keeping you on your toes.Because
R
obotech is a dirty word.
There is nothing dirty at using that word in it's proper context - as an object of scorn and derision.
